Wiring the DEI 507M Into ISIS

Our ISIS Power system brings you powerful functionality for all aspects of your car's electrical system.  One of those is our alarm functions through our inLINK wireless key fobs.  With inLINK, you get remote control, a vehicle immobilizer and an alarm all built in the ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System.

You can choose to use MASTERCELL inputs as triggers for the alarm.  When security is set on inLINK, we honk the horn or an external siren if these inputs are triggered.  These inputs can connect to pin switches on your doors or a tilt sensor like the DEI 507M

We have created an application note specifically to show you how to wire this tilt sensor into your ISIS system.

Essentially, the red wire on their harness needs to connect to a constant 12-volt feed from the battery. The light-blue wire in their harness connects to the MASTERCELL input wire for the alarm trigger.  The orange wire needs to be connected to ground, but only when the ignition is off.  This is what calibrates the angle for the tilt sensor.  This diagram shows you how to simply add a small relay to ground the orange wire on their harness when the ignition is off.

You can download a PDF of this application note at this link
