Check out the Mach7 Falcon at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

If you find your way to the Detroit Auto Show, check out the newly restyled Falcon F7 from Jeff Lemke and his team at Mach7 Motorsports.  They are an existing ISIS Power customer and the electrical system in this beauty is managed by our 3-Cell Kit with inLINK and inMOTION.

Jeff has teamed up with Fran Hall at Race Car Replicas to do the chassis design of the car.

Autoweek just posted a great article covering the car at the Detroit Autoshow.  You can catch the article at this link

The F7 brings a strong blend of styling and performance to the super car market.  Manufactured in Detroit, it could be your daily driver or your track car at a price very competitive to other options.

Here is a quick video showing off the F7.

You can learn more about the car at the Falcon F7 website by clicking here.

Watch us wire the CCR Duster This Weekend...

ISIS is going to be featured on Chop Cut Rebuild this weekend.  Jay Harris, president of ISIS power will be in the shop with the CCR and Classic Industries teams to wire their 1972 Duster.

This was a really simple wiring job.  We wired the car with our standard 3-Cell Kit, inMOTION for the windows and locks plus inLINK for security.  This replaced the traditional wiring harness that they were going to use.  It simplified the wiring, made the install simpler and gave them cool functions that they couldn't get from an old fashioned fuse & relay box with a ton of wire.

Here is the teaser video that they posted on YouTube.

The episode will debut at 8:00 AM Eastern on Saturday January 7th on SPEED. It will air again on Sunday January 8th at 10:30 AM Eastern. Check with your local cable provider for details. All taped segments on SPEED may be preempted by live racing coverage so check with the SPEED website for final details.

ISIS Power Phone Outage Today...

To all,

As we are a technology driven company, we are always looking for new advances to simplify the way that we do business.  One of the technologies that we have been using heavily since our beginning is internet-based VOIP phones.  For the most part, our provider has been reliable.  Unfortunately, we had an extended outage today that impacted our ability to service our customers.  We apologize to all of those who tried to call into our tech, sales and support lines and received messages that said that the number was unavailable.  Nextiva, our VOIP provider, was able to identify the root cause of the outage and address it.

Here is their response...

Dear ISIS,

I am writing to personally apologize for the outage that occurred today. We understand that 100% uptime of our service is critical to your business and we know how painful it is when we fail to meet that expectation.

The issue we experienced today was caused by a software module on one of our network components that was implemented a few months ago, which passed rigorous testing by the vendor as well as our own QA team. However, there are certain rare scenarios that simply cannot be duplicated in a lab environment. Today we experienced one of those scenarios. Of course, we have multiple sites for redundancy. Each site is an exact mirror of the others; including hardware and the software versions on that hardware. Unfortunately, when we moved traffic to the backup site, the issue remained. We had all hands on deck to resolve this issue. However, it took entirely too long for us to resolve it. Without making excuses, we are now fully aware of the root cause, and it has been resolved. We will work around the clock to make sure all necessary systems are in place to keep this from happening again in the future.

We are also putting together better communication tools to keep you up to date on future system issues and their projected resolution. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional information.

Respectfully,

Yaniv Masjedi
Vice President
Nextiva (www.Nextiva.com)

Thank you all for your patience during this outage.

New Truck Delivered from 10-75 Lighting...

We've blogged about these guys before.

10-75 Lighting in Ringwood, NJ builds a pretty broad range of Command & Emergency Vehicles.  They have been wiring their trucks with ISIS for several years now.

They just delivered a new truck to the Park Ridge Fire Department.  They wired it with our 3-Cell Kit loaded with a custom configuration specific to this truck.  Here's a video of the finished truck.

If you haven't seen it yet, we did a great case study with them highlighting the benefits that they get by wiring their trucks with our ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System.

You can learn more about 10-75 at their website:  http://www.1075lighting.com/ or calling (877) 614-7187.
