Alston Performance Electronics Install Video...

As we've talked about before, we have partnered with the guys at Alston Racing to create a specific wiring system for drag cars.  This is based around our core multiplexing technology and offers a ton of benefits to anyone wiring a dragster.

The base of this is our standard 2-Cell Kit.  You get one MASTERCELL cell to connect to your switches and one POWERCELL to control you switched loads.  It also includes our proprietary CAN bank of switches.  These come pre-configured, with labels and indicator lights for all of your key functions in the car including your ignition, starter, fuel pump, water pump, cooling fans and lighting.  There are also provisions for inputs on the MASTERCELL for a neutral safety switch, switch for a line-lock solenoid and trans-brake solenoid.  Wiring your race car could never be easier.

We also include all of the wire that you would need plus the primary fuses to protect the power feeds going to the POWERCELL.

Here are the key benefits to anyone wiring a drag race car.
  • Less weight:  multiplexing means less wire, less complexity and less weight in the wire harness.
  • Built in diagnostics: right from the inSIGHT screen on the MASTERCELL, the system points to where problems could be in your electrical system.
  • Simple switches: the bulk of your switches come pre-wired in a panel that mounts easily anywhere on the cage.  There is one simple cable that runs from your switch panel to the MASTERCELL for easy hook up.
  • No relays: the system's solid state design eliminates failures due to damaged relay contacts.  Under extreme tire shake, there are no moving parts to worry about.
To show how simple it is to wire your drag car with this system, we paired up with the ARS Productions team to assemble this simple video.  We walk you through the process of wiring your car, step-by-step.
