PowerBlock TV will be highlighting Kevin Tetz's "Jaded" Mustang this weekend. Watch as Kevin and host Courtney Hansen go through all of the details of this spectacular car. You may have seen this car in the Heat Shield Products booth at the 2012 SEMA show.
Kevin and TC at Bay One Customs wired "Jaded" with our 3-Cell Kit and inLINK. It is a pretty simple install but it makes the wiring and the harnesses very clean. Here's the opening video of Courtney and Kevin talking about the car.
The show will air May 18th and 19th. Check with your local cable provider for the specific times.
If you want to learn more about the build, check out TC's blog at their website: www.bayonecustoms.com.

Announcing ISIS inTOUCH NET
Our team at ISIS Power has been continuously developing new and revolutionary
products that help guys control the electrical functions in their cars and trucks. When we
introduced our inTOUCH MAX and inTOUCH Mobile products in 2010, we brought OEM
touch screen controls to utility trucks, command vehicles, limousines, busses, restorations, hot-rods, component cars and
street-rods.
Watch for more information on our new inTOUCH NET product on our website and our blog. We're taking pre-orders for this now and will be shipping these over the next 6 weeks. Give our sales team a call for more information. You can reach our team at (847) 232-1991 or sales@isispower.com.
The message that we heard over
and over since we launched these products is that our customers want a single touch screen
in their vehicles. They want one place to get your audio, video, GPS, navigation,
back-up cameras and the ISIS controls. We heard this message.
We are pleased to announce our
new inTOUCH NET interface. This is a module that connects into the ISIS
system. It allows control of the car functions through any web enabled device:
Apple, Android, Blackberry, Windows, you name it. As long as it has a web
browser and WiFi, you can control the car.
While we've been developing
inTOUCH NET, we have been working with the team at Kenwood USA. They announced
at the CES Show in January their new DNN990HD head unit. This is a revolutionary new double DIN, touch
screen head unit with all of the features that you would want in your car. The
added bonus is that this is the first WiFi enabled head unit which allows it to
interface with inTOUCH NET.
Here's a quick teaser video
talking about inTOUCH NET, the Kenwood partnership and some of the basic
functions of the system.

Expanded ISIS Install Manual for Superlite SL-C
As we have posted before, we developed a custom engineered wiring system for the Superlite Cars SL-C. The goal of this system was to create a specifically designed wiring harness based around our ISIS Power multiplexed technology to simplify the wiring in the car. Additionally, we wanted to give the builders the flexibility to expand the functionality of the car's electrical system as they want over time.
Will Campbell has been instrumental in creating and refining this kit. He has helped us to create a more comprehensive manual for the kit. This link will let you download this file.
Please contact our technical support group at (847) 232-1991 with additional questions.

Great SL-C Build Blog...
We've been working with the Fran Hall and his team at Superlite cars for several years now. We make a custom engineered system for their SL-C that comes standard with their kits. Our goal was to create a loomed, turn-key harness that would be engineered specifically to the car. He wanted to make simplify the wiring harnesses and streamline wiring the car.
One of Superlite's customers has created a great blog highlighting his build process. The Monkey Stomp Racing blog goes through all of the details of building the car and wiring it with our bespoke ISIS Power kit. This link will take you to a post on starting the wiring job in the car. Click here to read it.
You can follow the entire build process of this SL-C at www.monkeystompracing.blogspot.com. You can also visit www.superlitecars.com to learn more about the amazing SL-C car.

Porsche Track Car Wired with ISIS
Here's a great example of how our ISIS Power system can help you wire your race car. The ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System was designed for harsh-duty and off-highway vehicles so it can handle the rigors of the track. Its multiplexed architecture reduces the overall weight of the electrical system in the car, which is critical for racing applications.
In the case of this track car, the team started with a 1999 Porsche 911. It is a 996 series. They have done some amazing things to engine to boost power and reduce its weight. Once they did that, it was time to wire the car. The first thing that they did was to strip out all of the OEM wiring that wouldn't be needed. This picture gives you a good feel for what they took out of the car.
Everything said and done, they saved about 30 pounds of weight by eliminating the OEM wiring and wiring the car with ISIS.
They need all of the basic functions in the car: ECU power, starter solenoid, headlights, turn-signals, pitting lights and fuel pump. The team used our 3-Cell Kit to wire all of these functions in this race car. The 3-Cell Kit is a 20-circuit universal wiring harness.
They mounted the front POWERCELL under the hood. This is powering all of the front electrical functions. This pictures shows how they have the front POWERCELL mounted in the car.
The rear POWERCELL is located above the engine compartment behind the driver's seat. This cell is powering all of the functions in the rear of the car. This picture shows where they have the rear POWERCELL mounted.
These two POWERCELLs are connected through a simple data cable to the MASTERCELL. The MASTERCELL is the brain of the system and all of the switches get wired to it. They mounted the MASTERCELL in front of the shifter which made all of the switch wiring very short. Here is a picture of how they mounted the MASTERCELL.
The finished product is simple, clean and reliable. They were able to shave a significant amount of weight from the total car plus build in some custom programming to suit the driver's requirements. If you are ever at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois or Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois, keep an eye out for this car.
