Updating ISIS inTOUCH NET...

Our new inTOUCH NET product has completely changed the way that our customers interact with their vehicles and the ISIS Power system.  They have a universal interface that is fast, responsive and flexible plus it doesn't require any custom apps.  Their vehicle can be controlled from Apple, Android and Windows smart devices with ease.

Just like the rest of the ISIS Power hardware, inTOUCH NET can be updated in the field using code that we create for you.  Give our technical support team a call with the changes that you need for your inTOUCH NET and we will email you the files necessary to implement the changes.

Powering some of the best cars out there...

Our ISIS Power products have been used to wire some of the most complicated commercial vehicles out there.  This includes military trucks, command vehicles and RV's.  On top of that, our customers use ISIS to wire some of the most beautiful cars out there.

Our ISIS Power team is proud to announce that two of our customers' cars made it to the Great 8 in the competition for the Ridler Award at the 2014 Autorama in Detroit.  The Ridler is the premier award for builders in the industry.  Only the best of the best make it to the Great 8.

Congratulations to Tim Allen & Jeremy Miranda of Miranda Built for their stunning 1967 Nova, wired with our ISIS Power system.

Also, congratulations to Al Seese from Seese Machine for his 1933 Ford Delivery Sedan, also wired with ISIS.

Our entire team is proud to have been parts of these builds.  Please watch for additional blog posts talking about these cars in more detail.

inCODE Application for 64-Bit Versions Windows

One of the advantages of our ISIS Power system is the ability to load new configurations to it in the field.  Our inCODE programmer has proven to be a reliable tool to update ISIS.  Unfortunately, there have been problems with running the inCODE software on computers running 64-bit versions of Windows.  The original application was designed for 32-bit versions of Windows and Microsoft significantly increased the hurdles to get USB drivers approved for 64-bit.

We have just finished testing and evaluating the updates to the inCODE software that will operate on 64-bit versions of Windows.  This includes Windows 8.1 too.  Here are the instructions to load and run the new application.

  1. Temporarily disable your virus scanning software.
  2. Go to http://www.embedinc.com/picprg/sw.htm and click on the install_picprog executable.
  3. Run the install_picprg executable.
  4. When the installation is done, plug the programmer into the computer.  Let it find the drivers as necessary.
  5. Reboot the computer.
  6. Go to Programs/Embed Inc/Program PIC.
  7. Save your hex file to your desk top.
  8. Plug the programmer header into the ISIS cell to be updated.  Make sure that the file name matches the serial number of the cell.
  9. Browse for the file and hit PROGRAM on the GUI.

The new user interface for inCODE looks like this:
