inTOUCH Mobile Documents Available at ISIS Power Website...

Okay Folks,

The new installation guide and owner's manual for inTOUCH Mobile are now available at http://www.isispower.com/

inTOUCH mobile is a truly unique addition to the ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System.  In addition to giving you a more powerful electrical system to wire your car, you can now control your car in a way that was not available before.  You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad as a wireless controller.  Arm & disarm your ISIS security system, pop your doors, roll down your windows and control your lighting all through a Wi-Fi connection to the ISIS MASTERCELL.  The Apple version is ready.  We are furiously working on the Android version now.

This link will take you to the installation guide that shows you how to install the new inTOUCH Mobile Wi-Fi module in an existing MASTERCELL.

This link will take you to the owner's manual for inTOUCH Mobile.

More Ferrari Coverage...

Yes, I have blogged about this car before.  It is honestly one of my favorite customer cars.  Joe & Trevor Mischik built the amazing Ferrari 330 P4 tribute car that we had in our booth at SEMA last year.  They wired the car with our standard 3-Cell Kit with inLINK.  We did a little custom programming to make this one unique.

Alas, they just sold the car at the Russo & Steele auction in Scottsdale over the weekend so they are looking for a new project.  They put these 5 videos together to document the build up of the car.  My favorite is the time-elapsed video showing its assembly in video 3.  They also make a nice call out to our team here at ISIS Power in the ending credits in the 5th video.

Enjoy!

Jay

ISIS Power / Five Axis / Panasonic at 2011 CES Show in Vegas

We're in the middle of another great partnership with Five Axis in Huntington Beach, CA.  We first met Troy Sumitomo in late 2008 and had a chance to see some of his team's amazing work.  After SEMA 2010, we hooked up with Nevill Ooms to start working on their Stage 3 car.  This is a high-calibre build that is going to get tons of coverage in 2011.

Nevill and his guys have wired the car with a 3-Cell Kit.  They are powering all of the basic functions in the car like lighting, the ECU, fans, etc.  They are also using ISIS to power the Panasonic audio system.

They got a great reception when they debuted this car at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week.  This was the cornerstone of the Panasonic booth.

You can see more of Five Axis' work at www.fiveaxis.net.  Watch for more coverage of this car over the course of 2011.

Moving the ISIS Power Website Server...

Hey Guys,

We wanted to drop a quick note that we will be moving the ISIS Power website server sometime over the next few weeks. All of the planning is going on right now to keep any disruptions to a minimum. We will be porting the existing site over to a development server to do testing in advance so that the actual move will be seamless. There will be a 12-hour window where there may not be access to the site. This will occur sometime over the next few weekends and we will send out a mass email in advance of that. The ISIS Power web address will not be changing, just the location of the server. We're making some upgrades to help serve you better.

We will have most of the team working with our web developers to test the site to make sure that no links are lost. We will also have extra folks manning the phones in the office to make sure that guys will have access to technical support while the site is down.

Watch this space for more information. We will give as much notice as possible before we move things.

Thanks,

Jay

Muscle Car Restorations Project 99...

We have been working very closely with a customer on a top secret project for the past few months.  Muscle Car Restorations is a top notch shop located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.  John Balow and his team knew that their Project 99 was going to be truly unique and no ordinary wiring harness would get the job done.  They had already wired several cars with ISIS so they knew what they would need to meet their requirements.  John called our team at ISIS Power and we headed up North to help them lay out the details.

Project 99 uses our off-the-shelf 3-Cell Kit with inLINK and inMOTION but it has a bunch of tricks up its sleeves.  We can't give you any more details but look for the grand unveiling at the Barret-Jackson event in Scottsdale, AZ in a few weeks.  Watch this space for more details on the debut.

Also, this car has gobbled up most of the April 2011 edition of Car Craft.  Keep an eye out for the edition to hit the newsstands.

You can see more of MCR's work at http://www.musclecarrestorations.com/.

Happy New Year from ISIS Power...

Happy New Year to you all,

We're eager to wrap up 2010.  All in all, it has been a good year for us.  We had a bunch of great trade shows, moved into a new production facility, won some awards, launched new products, met new customers, made new partners and grew the business.  It was certainly not without its challenges including supplier delays and material shortages but we're just about through the woods.

2011 is going to bring a bunch of new things to ISIS Power.  We're expanding our team to help serve you.  We're updating the website to help you learn more about the product.  We're debuting our new customer configuration tool soon to give you the ability to modify your code.  Most importantly, we're adding more functions and features to the ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System to help you wire your car easier.  We know that electrical things scare a lot of guys.  We're going to make automotive wiring easier.

Bring on 2011.

Jay Harris and the entire ISIS Power Team.
